    Recipients in town early were treated to dinner at the Knoxville staple, Litton’s, tonight. The eight recipients were joined by members of the Executive Committee of the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention and the representatives of the 2015 Boston convention.

    Convention is one week away!

    The first official event of the 2014 Medal of Honor Convention is one week away! The Character Development Program Dinner kicks off the convention Tuesday night at Neyland Stadium on the campus of the University of Tennessee. The event will celebrate students and teachers from across the state whom have taken part in the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation‘s Character Development Program, a school-based program teaching the concepts of commitment and community service.

    There will be numerous public and private events for the recipients during the rest of the week. The Medal of Honor Project will live stream the following events on our website:

    • The President’s Welcome Breakfast – Thursday, September 11 at 8:00 A.M.
    • The University of Tennessee Town Hall Forum – Friday, September 12 at 10:00 A.M. The is a PUBLIC event, which does not require a ticket. For more information see: townhall.mohproject.org
    • The Medal of Honor Project hour-long live show from the floor of the autograph session – Friday, September 12 at 4:00 P.M.
    • The Patriot Gala – Saturday, September 13 at 7:15 P.M.
    • The Medal of Honor Project’s 2014 Medal of Honor Convention Wrap Show – Sunday, September 14th at 2:00 P.M.

    We will also be covering the rest of the events and posting photos, videos and print stories through out the week.
